How long does the Aerial Silk have to be to fit my ceiling height?
Since an Aerial Silk is hung in a double layer, the length of your silk must be at least twice as long as your ceiling height. For figures close to the floor, the ends should be a good distance from the floor. For this, and for the knot to attach the Aerial Silk, allow an additional 1-2 metres. Generally speaking, it is better to choose a length that is too long than too short.
Do I have to attach the Aerial Silk to one or two points?

What do I need to hang my Aerial Silk?
There are several ways to hang your Aerial Silk. Standard mounting equipment includes the Figure 8, Express Slings, Carabiners, Swivels with ball bearings and special ceiling mountings if there is no fixed anchor point or beam. Depending on the circumstances, you do not necessarily need all these parts, but in any case the Figure 8. The fabric is tied into the Figure 8 mounting with a special knot and is thus protected from damage.
Where is the best place to hang the Aerial Silk?
You can hang your Aerial Silk both indoors and outdoors. It is important that your attachment points (e.g. beams, branches, ceilings) have sufficient load-bearing capacity. Also make sure that there is enough space in every direction and that it is not permanently exposed to the weather.
What does stretchiness mean for Aerial Silks?
High Stretch Aerial Silks bounce better in drops, but make climbing on the Silk more difficult due to the High Stretch. Low Stretch Aerial Silks bounce less in drops, but make climbing easier. The Medium Stretch is the perfect all-rounder and therefore the first choice for most aerial athletes.
